My son is the inspiration behind this illustration.  At the time he just started Kindergarten and was nervous to go to class.  My son loves cats but we don't have one as a pet!  I started drawing little pictures of cats doing fun things, and handed these little drawings to him before class started! 

These two cats are playing with each other and they are connected to one another by the kite string.  I told my son that these two cats were him and I.  He is the one flying in the air and having fun and although he's away from me we are still connected by the kite string .  It was a delight to see his eyes light up when I told him this!  I'm proud to present to you my first ever art print!  

These are art prints of my original illustration "Flying A Cat, 1st + 2nd half".  The original illustration is hand drawn, then digitally transferred and coloured using different colouring techniques, and finally printed on glossy fine art paper.  Each print is hand signed.   

Please note the colors of the art print may vary slightly in person due to different color settings of screens as well as the general nature of printing.
